Made entirely of carbon fiber, the DUC turbo spinner has been designed and developed to improve engine cooling. Particularly suitable for air-cooled engines, it limits temperature variations in cylinder and oil between take-off at full throttle and cruising flight, as well as in static flight or on a taxiway.

The turbo deflectors are positioned around the blade root to allow air to enter the engine cowling air intakes during static and dynamic operation.
